I have never liked Alpina wheels. Way to busy looking and they have to be a pita to clean.

Would've been better if it had a RWD option

This is the most interesting BMW (I guess Alpina technically) I've seen in the past few years. 100% would drive.

Interesting. Good for those who want practicality but also a little sauce on the end just in case!

Impressive specs.

I would just jump on the new Alpina D5 Saloon. That is one good gorgeous keeper... for a looong time...

Unfortunately not available in North America...

Yeah, it is weird right? In M550d and 750d that engine makes 400hp.

I don't see how you want to make from 265hp to 388hp with just the tune
The steering wheel on Alpina is the worst part I would say
The M performance steering wheel which you can get in normal M40i looks much better.

I didn't see the steering wheel as being available for purchase on their website. However, that doesn't mean that there isn't a way to get it. I just don't know what that way is.

Generally from an accessories standpoint, they just sell wheels, aero kit and floor mats. Now that the vehicle is released, we'll have to see if we can get a part number to see if a dealer can order it.

What I find really strange is that Alpina now seems to have two different Diesel engines with the same output:

One with three turbos in the D5S (388hp), and another with four turbos in the XD3 (also 388hp).
