Will 764M square set fit on 2018 M40i???

I swear I searched!!!

I am looking at a set of 764M wheels with 255/45R20 winter tires all around (square). Any potential fitment issues I should know about before I purchase and throw on the M40i for winter?

I know the speedo will be off by <1.5%, not too concerned there, and if these were the staggered 255F 265R they wouldn’t work on my car - but they’re not. Searching didn’t dig up any other info but I want to poll the audience before pulling the trigger.

Thank you for looking and for the help.

No issues with the wheels and tires. But I'm concerned about your speedo. I'm not available for any adjustments on that.

Tires will fit fine.

About the speedometer though, it’s probably reading 5% fast as it is. So with taller tires, yours will actually be closer to correct. Our 2021 M40i (US version) with 20” tires reads 74 mph at 70 mph per gps. I’ve read a number of postings on it. It’s pretty annoying to us considering the odometer will show more miles than the car actually has, and the gas mileage is lower than calculated. Dealer does not want to correct it, says it’s within tolerance.

My 2006 330i sport package also read 4% or so high. Fitting tires with +5% aspect ratio fixed it, with a better balance of ride and performance too imo. The wheel wells are also more pleasingly filled, people ask me how much it is dropped and the answer is zero.

I also have not cut a tire since, after cutting two of the lower profile.

Thank you all for the prompt, informative replies. Wealth of info on here and I appreciate you taking the time to help me out by weighing in!

I'm going to buy these and use them for winters
