Uneven Ground Service/App

Has anyone else seen the Uneven Ground service/app in their BMW apps? I just randomly did a services/app update this morning and it appeared. Haven't had time to mess with it further.

Shows up in my HUD pretty constantly. I always like gadget add ons. But this is kind of pointless for me and annoying.

Not that I am aware of. I work from home and this is the first time I've driven in almost 3 weeks. Before that last time I drove I hadn't driven it in over a month.

Not that I am aware of. I work from home and this is the first time I've driven in almost 3 weeks. Before that last time I drove I hadn't driven it in over a month.

Must be solely a new ConnectedDrive app then. Interesting.

How did you find out it was functioning? Since seeing it this morning I didn't see any notification on the HUD, and the roads I was driving on were pretty uneven/construction zones.

It just flashed on my my HUD a hazard sign and said Uneven Surface and distance countdown is usually 800ft. As you continue to drive it counts down the distance then it disappears.

You can have it display on HUD in the HUD settings or you can uncheck it there and display on the instrument cluster instead. But then it doesnt show the gear youre in which is even more pointless for me at least as most of the time I am in manual mode.

Not in UK, although I don't have ADAS (although I believe that I technically have the camera).

Did you try doing a services/app update in the iDrive? That's all I did, wasn't in Connected store.

I should mention my X3 is a 2021 and I have iDrive 7, but couldn't tell you the version.

If you haven't updated you're likely on 20-07 or possibly 20-11 depending on production date.

Mine's also a 2021, about 2 weeks old, but again, in the UK with no ADAS.

I also got the uneven surface warning for the first time today.
My car has not been to any dealership since I bought it back in April and I have not done any manual App updates.
