Here in OR, it’s flipped. The better the fuel economy, the higher the registration fee. How lame is that?

It's an indirect way to tax people who have higher incomes. New car = higher MPG = discretionary spending. Generally speaking. Of course, there are exceptions. It's not intended to penalize better MPG

Or it's to recuperate the diminished fuel tax colected from those car with better MPG.

I’m pretty sure it’s this. The double asterisks next to high-MPG and electric vehicles leads to a link to OReGO, a pay-per-mile program that reduces the fee for electric vehicles (and other benefits).

It’s still silly because it looks like the state wants dirtier vehicles, even if that’s not the specific intention.

I don't know if somebody mentioned about the green colors but from what I see on the Bulgarian website there will be 2 green colors. One is Urban Green solid and the other Malachite Green metalic. I'm not familiar with the greens but maybe this is the urban green?

I think that's actually Malachite Green metallic.

I've only seen virtual renders of Urban solid -

That's malachite green. Here is a G20 thread that shows how amazing this color is. Sounds like G01 not available in malachite in US?

The first "real" photo I've seen of the LCI X3 with 20" 787M wheels.

Too bad it's not available in the US. I would love that option.

In this thread, A BMW client advisor says that Malachite and Urban are available in the US as $4500 special order paints.

It is available for X3Ms, maybe on other models too? Someone at my dealership ordered one. It's one of the individual options.

That being said, no way I'd pay 4.5k for that color. Or any other one for that matter.

Yeah, that’s a ridiculous amount to pay. I’d fork over a few grand for Estoril Blue, but 4.5K is a lot of money for a custom paint.

No knives out, but your info is outdated. The situation you explain was the case 30 days ago. Looks like the floodgates are open with lots of allocations coming to market right now.

Fully trust this broker. As a matter of fact, I have two cars in production with him/his dealership right now.
Can you please Pm me the broker info as well? Thanks

On the BMW website, the page with the X3 preview doesn't offer the Brooklyn grey. Interesting. Surely an error but it is there for the X4

Thanks for the PM, I contacted the broker and he was very helpful but he said that parking assistance package and possibly the HK speakers were not available at the moment if he ordered through his dealer. I decided to wait until it is available. If anybody else has a different experience let me know.
