Seems this week my 2021 M40i started showing on the digital dash "Uneven Road Surface Ahead" with a countdown distance. This is on the right side, where gear, trip, infotainment would be displayed.

Odd part is, its a road I travel every other day or so. And well, its road surface has not changed at all.

Quite annoying distraction, seems to get cleared out with hitting the BC button.

But my question is, where the heck is it coming from? Is it a BMW map service? Is it coming from Google Maps via Android Auto?
And then how can I either turn it off (hopefully without turning off something useful) or otherwise get it fixed?

Go to your apps menu and select or deselect it.
