Just had a call that delivery is pushed back to end of day, little over 1 hour before appointment, as they had a "power outage" and the car wasn't charged. I know it's just a couple of hours but this never ending story of f***ups ... Amateurs

That’s a tough one… At least you know you’ll have a full charge so you can enjoy the car immediately! You’ll still have a great weekend anyway, I think!!!

Yeah I have a nice trip scheduled in Saturday so it will be great, just you can sense dealers like this reasoning the same way "once they see the car it won't matter anymore" where it does, takes away the shine of a delivery which IMO is always something special to look forward to.

Allright, car is here, short drive today but as it's my 5th BMW and had a g20 before not a lot to learn 😁 one question though: when pressing the phone button on my steering wheel in my g20, this would show the list of last calls in the cockpit screen. Now this doesn't seem to trigger anything ... Has this been removed or did I miss a setting somewhere?

The list of calls or contacts comes up in the headsup display. Threw me off as well the first day, but makes sense and is a bit more safe while driving.

Just remember to turn off the lane assist or you will get some scary situations on our Belgian roads. A few km’s after the pickup I though the car wanted to kill me due to there being black lines (tar fixes) on the road and the car thought I was going over a lane line … scared the shit out of me …

Haha, just wanted to post indeed I'm an idiot and didn't notice the heads-up display... Works much better indeed as more info is showing. The steering interference on the lane departure is indeed the first thing I turned off 😊 happy to see it stays off now also, had to do it every time on my G20.
