Having trouble engaging launch control. First time tried it since got the car. Engine warm. DSC off, Sports Plus in sequential mode with gear 1 selected and drive logic in S3. Brake firmly press accelerator down but I never see the flag symbol.

All I get is the car wanting to go beyond the resistance of the brake. No launch symbol.

Am I doing something wrong?

Brake pedal 100% followed by accelerator pedal 100% to the point you depressed the button under the accel pedal?

Ah I didn’t press the accelerator pedal all the way down so this is the cause?

Yes, while pressing the brake with your left foot, floor the accelerator with the right. You should then see the launch control prompt on your dashboard. Let the boost build then ✈️.

Yes. Launch control will not activate unless both pedals are held 100%.

Curious. the car will shift for you even though it says to put it in sequential mode?

Yes, when you launch in S3, it shifts for you. But make sure to engage the LC properly, otherwise the car will not shift and redline in the first gear. Happened to me 😁
