New shoes. HRE FF11 20x9.0 ET25 F and 20x10.5 ET35 R with 245/45R20 and 275/40R20 tires. Near perfect offsets IMO. It'll look even better with H&R springs installed.
How do you like those tires?

So far so good. Made by Continental. Near Michelin Pilot Sport A/S quality but much cheaper. I don't plan on driving past 8/10 limit in this thing so they should be perfectly suitable. They're certainly more comfortable and perform better than the stock run-flats, even with upsizing from 19" to 20".

I have General tires on my M3 as well and have been happy with them.

Related note - there is probably a thread on this somewhere, but has anyone installed lowering springs on G01 themselves? I've been getting shop quotes 1.2k to 1.8k for just the labor... . Fronts don't seem overly difficult but I've heard rears require significant interior trim (and seat?) removal.
About to do it this week. Took a bunch of digging to find what I needed. My assumption in regards to the quotes being so high is that you need to remove some of the rear cargo panels to access the top of the rear strut assembly, but for what it's worth I removed all the rear panelling required to access everything yesterday in about 10 minutes

Some info here:
https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1699101

More here:

Rear -

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...ion/1VncNoAqWm

This is what I will be using...seems pretty straight forward.

Side note...wheels look great!

Awesome. Thanks. Let me know how it goes. I'm planning on tackling it as well in the next couple weeks.

Wouldn't be a matter of trying. They would fit just fine...

Has anyone done a square setup with 255 tires? Looking at 20x9 ET25 255/45/20

Seems like most have done 245/45 which looks small to me on a 9" wheel.

Yep. Continental DWS06 in 255/45/20. Rims are 8.5" wide TSW Sprint. I wanted a tiny bit more tire width to protect the rims. I think I would have saved about 3lbs per corner going with a 245, but the setup is already a good bit lighter than the 718 wheels.

Awesome! Would you be able to grab a rear shot from lower to show how the width of the square setup looks from straight on?

Would you also be able to share your offset?

Setup looks great!

I came off of 21" OEM rims and although they looked great, the tires are expensive ($~340 avg), loud, and I prefer black wheels.

I went with XO Luxury Helsinki wheels which I simply fell in love with just seeing them online. These are 20"x9" square setup with 20mm offset with Michelin A/S 3+ tires 255/40/20. I honestly think the extra sidewall looks perfect. I have since put BMW centercaps on which has completely transformed the look of the wheels in my opinion.

Do you guys forsee any problems with 20x9 et25 with a 255/45?

The upper control arm clearance in the front looks pretty tight and seems you guys with 255 have a hair more offset to your benefit.

Offset has more to do with horizontal distance to brakes rather than vertical distance. As for the control arm clearance I'm not sure how 255/45 would affect that as I imagine it depends on how the suspension works as well? Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable in that area.

UPDATED WHEEL SPECS FOR FLUSH FITMENT:
21x9 et25 front +13mm spacers (meaning ideal fitment would be 21x9 et12)
21x10.5 et32 rear

My setup is now for sale!

Includes Michelin tires (rears will need to be replaced soon), TPMS and spacers for the front to give it the perfect fitment.
$1400 + shipping (or local pickup in NC)

Sorry I just saw this. They are 20mm offset. I'll take a pic tomorrow to show the square setup in the rear.

No worries, I saw enough others that I was able make my decision.

Now I need mudflaps. That offset change has my skirts, doors and bumpers under assault!

Thank you! I'm pleased with how it looks too..and of course being able to have lots more tire choices that you can rotate is a huge plus.

It handles fantastic too, at least compared to the Bridgestone RFTs...feels like a different vehicle...one I don't mind throwing into a corner now. :-)
