Sorry B-52. I feel your frustration. I think it’s time I start looking elsewhere. It’s bad practice to just hold a car this long, especially when we already had to wait through Covid shutdown.

It's a vanilla X3M with non-M Performance seats.

But it does have Live Cockpit and ID7!

I was browsing their other X3M stock, non-comp or comp, not all had M belts and none had CF strut bar.

I'm indifferent about ID6 vs ID7, honestly.

BMW teasing a carbon strut bar was clickbait, vaporware. Bad on them for that one.

Maybe BMW will include the carbon fiber strut brace with the competition pkg?

I don't understand why some Comps have the M seat belts and some don't. 2020 or 2021. Shouldn't all Comps have the seat belts?

But, is it the same neutered ID7 found in the M40i (which I have)? One of the biggest missing features is remote start. I checked the 2021 X3M on the BMWUSA site and found no mention of this being a part of any package or option.

I've been told there will be NO 2021 production of F97/F98 models before July 2020.

Good question. No idea. I'm just going off the pics of the 2021 X3M stock listed.

Any other missing features aside from remote start that make it a neutered ID7?

Passed a Carrier with a variety of brand new BMWs heading West on I-10 in the FL Panhandle last Thursday (including some X models, but didn't see F97/98 on board). Combination of factors leading to the wait, but hopefully the dam is slowly starting to release and you'll get a Carrier assignment soon.

Spoke to my SA this weekend. He said that 4 2021 X3Ms made it to dealerships. But all 4 went to west coast of USA. Maybe things start moving on the east coast this week. Mine is on week 4 of just sitting in SC.

It's a free option that the dealer has to check.

Heard that some 21s are starting to make it to the east coast. My SA thinks mine should be here this week. Hopefully you have some good news coming too B-52.
