I downloaded the app from oemnavigatoons. Their instructions say to shutdown all antivirus and defender. I did not do this when downloading form their service.

Did you read my post? I ran a full virus scan after, closed the open firewall port, and didn't find anything after completing the install successfully. Some programs based on how they work will be recognized as a trojan. Either way if they have a method that doesn't bother the anti-virus then that would be better.

You could also run this on a temporary virtual machine if you are worried. Then delete the virtual machine after flashing.

OEM Navigations for full screen car play

And bimmercode for common coding like video in motion (wired)

It's so easy to do common things, i used to do the old way with all the SP-Daten and it was more of a pain.

You can do more coding with other methods but im liking the dead simple stuff.

So I just got my Apple CarPlay working. Was at my dealer whom just put the right settings.
CarPlay was part of a bundle when i bought the car...it's a lifetime subscription, so no need to pay anything anymore 😬

I've followed sd306 instructions and in effect I've got the Full CarPlay screen, I have some observations:
1. Once this Full Screen modification is applied while listening Spotify I can't see the animated video of the music is playing. It was displayed in the split screen section.
2. While in Spotify mode and pressing the 'Option' button in the console, it shows the split screen option as greyed out, it can not be activated. I would have liked to have the option to split the screen for Spotify. Is this the way this update works?

3. I can see an Analog Clock now (Didn't before) when in iDrive screen and selecting the 'Option' button, the split screen is allowed and can select many other options besides the clock to display.

4. I've also applied the VIM using BimmerCode and works perfect. I noticed that when I used a different Key (DisplayKey) the VIM was not allowed. So it makes me wonder if the BimmerCode settings are designated to the Key that is used while coding the vehicle. I will repeat the VIM enable process using the Display Key.

Anyone has any input regarding these comments. Thanks
