Check Engine Light.

This is the 3rd time in about a month that my Check Engine Light has come on. There have not been any notifications in idrive. The first time it happened, I made an appointment to have it checked out. The next day the light went away. The 2nd time I chalked it up to "electrical gremlins." Has anyone had this happen to them? Should I wait a couple days before calling BMW and see if the light goes away?

mine came on and bmw said they ordered a part and there is a new recall on my car. part will take 1 month to arrive and it is safe to drive otherwise...will look at my paper work and let you know.
