Switch from 5w-30 to 0w-30 for NYC winter?
2011 X3 28i (105k mileage)
Ive been regularly using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Euro L 5w-30. Changing ever 6k miles Would it beneficial at all to switch to a 0w-30? I have an oil change due soon and had my eye on Liqui Molly 0w-30 from FCPEURO. Unless there are better brands you can recommend for my engine |

Moly is good stuff. 0W would be better for below freezing start ups than 5w.

since you say you are changing your oil every 6k miles, yes, go with the cheaper of the two.
