2015 BMW X3 LCI Facelift Refresh

Agree with clivem2 and joyceb41 - M Sport has gone wrong, x line is the looker- sporty but agile (this from a 2012 30d M Sport owner).

Have been contemplating an M4 or M6 but now seriously considering this in x-line 35d guise for a year or two until M4 prices become more sensible.

Love the current model but wish for a bit more power, a bit more looks and the latest tech (iDrive touch, true 360 surround view which this has as he front facing camera sticks out pretty obviously on those mineral silver photos!). The LCI could do tick those boxes!

I just noticed that even though the color name is Carbonschwarz Metallic (Carbon Black Metallic) the pic of the X3 looks dark blue...weird.

I spoke with our salesman today. He said it won't be an issue to go forward with a 2015 if that is what we decide to do.

If they plan to start production in April, when do we suppose it would hit the dealer? We're looking at 4 weeks of lead time to get our 2014 here, but it was a modifiable unit that was hanging around the plant.

I don't think I'll be able to convince the other half to wait longer than June for her new wheels!

Carbon Black has a blue tint in bright light.

Heres my PAINTshop attempt of how my Xline might look with some painted bits. I think I prefer it over the Msport!

I agree, I prefer the steering wheel/seats in the M by a long shot, but the Xline looks really on point. The rear bumper and single exhaust is a very nice touch.

The good news, is that I might be able to stick with the 2014 M-package order, because I won't be so envious of the new one, and the Xline is different enough to not piss me off lol

What's the view on the non-MSport rear bumper and wheel arch plastic - is it black now or still grey? I hope it's black.

Let's just change the locking button position for all the confused new customers in the x5 and x3 now and fuck over all of us who have been buying these cars for the last 15 years. Maybe I'll go and buy a 335 and complain about not having a v6 and next year every straight six is discontinued.

I actually didn't like the F25 that much, it looked too girly. But now with this LCI I think it looks amazing. And the X-Line is incredible. If production starts in April, and they're made here in South Carolina, and you're getting one of the first ones off the line, then you'll get it by May -- if not April, if production starts early enough.

Seriously I think I prefer all the non m-sport X vehicles - which is the opposite to the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
