Yea I know, but there are too many instances where this can't be coincidence lol.

Better to replace worn plugs than having worn plugs on the car too long especially when going on spirited drives.

Alright so I ordered 6 of the NGK SILZKGR8C8S (95248) and they just came in. I checked the stock plugs against this one and it's identical in all measurements (verified with my metric caliper).

I called NGK once more and got a different rep this time, he double checked for me and confirmed these two plugs are identical.

NGK says there are two differences, one is that (SILZKGR8E8S) are made in Europe, the SILZKGR8C8S are made in USA.

The second difference is that SILZKGR8C8S has a nickel plating (on threads) (the one made in Europe has a trivalent coating), not the tip or prong. Its meant for harsher environments like marine or compressed natural gas engines.

Neither plug is indexed (Per NGK).

They mentioned that they can be used in gasoline engines and will provide the same performance.
