11/2023.50 software available

Mine will upgrade later, of course no specifics on the benefits.

Updated yesterday. Nothing noticeable but would enjoy more descriptive readme on what was updated.

Also updated to 11.2023, no added value then annoying disclaimers when setting the car in assisted mode -> Can this also be switched off?
Probably yes by switching off automatic set of advice and TLA in the iDrive menu which is not supported in my country.

Keep in mind you need to reprogram all your changes again like LCA.
This was a good opportunity to make a car backup again with default settings of the factory.

I’m UK based but done get any disclaimers pre or post-upgrade. I thought those were for US region cars only (which the iX3 can never be, anyway).

That’s strange….on a 2023 UK model.

Complete shutdown of car lock unlock then back to normal! Phew

I’ve not noticed anything substantial changing, however one thing I’ve noticed recently is that the My BMW App on the Apple Watch has improved in regards to keeping up to date and reacting to commands given through the App itself, although I doubt very much the in car upgrades are to do with this?

Many thanks,

Many thanks,
The phone app has also improved a lot over the last six months. I guess BMW are continuing to develop it as it across all models.

I noticed before update that when I pressed number 1 for my seat to go back into my stored position I had to press it a number of times as each press would only move it a small amount, bit annoying but not the end of the world, after update it is back to single press 👍

I had that issue before when the car was in motion. It was necessary to press and hold the memory button. When the car is stationary it moves all the way with a single press.

Only noticable change after update is drivers side wing mirror will not unfold after unlocking car, need to unlock again to 'wake up". Usually all will be good after few days.😂

2023 X4 M40i - update broke memory seat function. Had to reset my whole driver profile (which placed all vehicle settings back to factory 🤦🏻‍♂️) Not happy here. Memory seat function is now fixed though - it’s just a PIA to have to go through this.

After the update, is anyone having issues with the instrument cluster? I can press the toggle on the turn signal to display one of the optional views, and in a few seconds, it reverts to the view showing the drive mode WITHOUT speedometer, tachometer, or gas gauge. Anyone else seeing this? Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

Gas gauge? 😂

Wrong room. Petrol is two doors down on the left, diesel is last door on the right.

The diesel room is recognisable by the heavy dust and cobwebs on the door. I don't think anybody has been in there for years.

Does updating remove any bimmercode mods regular and advanced?

Something that I think has changed in this version is the battery preheating app, at least in my case. During the month of January I traveled about 3000km in very different cold conditions and I could never manually activate the preheating before reaching a fast charging point because the app icon appeared grayed out and you could not press to enter it . From the moment I updated to the latest version, the app is always available again.

All the best
