They ended up taking $1000 off MSRP for the supply chain issues (which I’m not sure if they actually exist on my model) and got them to throw in rubber floor mats at no cost.

Everyone has been saying puddle lights are gone, which is true for the under the door light but it has the light carpet from the sill panel which does the same. I just can’t upgrade to those fancy BMW logo lights that shine on the street.

It also has the iDrive touch controller.

It DID have the noisy sunroof rattle so they’ll be fixing that sometime in the hear future.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for giving me the knowledge to have them make everything right. It’s sad to think how many people have no idea and just sign away.

My X3 now has the same sunroof rattle that you mentioned. I only have about 500 miles on it so far. Was the dealer able to fix your sunroof?

I've been waiting till I finish my break in period of 1200 miles before taking it in for them to look at it. I have trust issues and I don't believe they would care that the engine wasn't broken in yet and just beat on it unnecessarily. However, I did just cross that 1200 mile mark so I will be making an appointment soon.

I have read that there's a tech document out on this and should be easily fixed. I can let you know what they say.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am also waiting for the 1200 mile mark to even consider a trip to the dealership. Everything else works great on the X3. Best car purchase decision for me!

It was the cheapest I could find the OEM black emblems for once shipping was factored in ($56.10 each plus $8.95 shipping).

There are also Chinese counterfeits available on eBay and aliexpress for like 13-$20 each. But I didn’t feel like putting those on a brand new $70,000 car. Meanwhile the OEM badges from the dealership were made in Spain.

Finally got the OEM gloss black emblems installed on the rear hatch since it wasn’t too cold out today.

I’m happy with how it turned out.

Only a parts delay would put the kiabosh on anything greater than 50 days. Lately, the M Diff availability slows things down.

No, most X3's are built in South Carolina so we get them a lot quicker here in the states. Can you not track your progress on BMW.com? Dealer should be able to provide you with a VIN or production number.

This forum seems to be mostly M40i’s but you’ll find delivery time info on the base model if you just go back through the pages. I have the x30i and got the car in less than 4 weeks.
