Well, my dumb ass wasn't paying enough attention when ordering the 3M tape and I got 1/4" wide. That is definitely not wide enough to be putting on the spoiler!

Got the 3M tape on the spoiler. I'll let that sit for the next day and then hopefully put it on the X3 tomorrow night.

Any other spots you think I should put tape on? The one in the middle is crooked because I was trying to cover a scratch in the plastic and don't want that to ever rub against the paint.

I really like that new one and was pissed when I woke up to see that on the front page. However, I think it would be added a bit to much to an M40i.

Agreed, I’m quite happy that ours won’t be the most aggressive X3 spoiler.

I wish mine would hurry up though, it’s saying “presented to import customs” again today, same as the previous update 4 days ago!

Spoiler is on the car. First impression is that it looks good in general but fitment is just ok and it definitely does look a bit tacked on. It would not line up edge to edge on each side and now it's basically just stuck in the spot it's in due to so much 3M tape being used.

I'll try to post a few pictures soon.

I think it looks good, would be better if the painted portions weren't showing especially with the light paint colour. Maybe others could experiment with laying down strips of black wrap on those bits before fitting the spoiler.

Yes it just sticks on top.

The two options I can think of are thin strips of black vinyl wrap, or plasti dip applied with a small brush, either could be easily peeled off if you ever remove the spoiler.

I agree, the painted portions showing are what gives me some hesitation in keeping it on. I may try to do some gloss black wrap but it may be hard to get that on there now.

After spending 2 days in "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment", my diffuser finally made it from China to the ISC New York and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed!
