not use oem patrs
I'm under BMW warranty on my 2016 x3, does anyone know if I can use other brakes padand parts than oem without affecting the warranty?

you're giving the dealer an opportunity to tell you that your issue (if you were having a brake problem) is a result of the aftermarket parts, but i dont think you would void your warranty permanently.

Doesn't the warranty on a 2016 X3 include the replacement brake pads and rotors? I believe mine does. Also, I recall that brakes were not included in 2017 warranties. Have you verified this with your dealership?

If you vehicle is under warranty, do yourself a favor and if you want to maintain yourself the vehicle use only OE parts... BMW will blame your parts and yo' mama for anything that is directly and indirectly broken. Do not give BMW ammo to shoot you down with.

I'm assuming the OP is the second owner? BMW cheaped out awhile ago and made the free maintenance plans non transferable to the second owner starting in 2014 iirc
