On another topic, not sure why people say the macan gts will be such a different experience. Doesn't have the same power, but the handling and pdk surely make up for it. And it's also not as stiff. Think it's actually the next best thing if you want a similair experience

Get the car updated
Software update?

Wasn't the suspension modified in the LCI version?

Yea there was a software update for 2020 cars in regards to suspension. Also consider switching to All seasons like the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4.

Some people are reporting that the bump stop protectors from factory are still in, check under your dust boot and see if the dealer left them on. Crazy, it will make your ride feel like rocks.

Worst case: switch to KW V3, still cheaper than a new car.

The pre-LCI had iDrive 6 and the older "analog-but-digital" style gauges. LCI (22/23) have iDrive 7 and the newer completely digital cluster + 12.3" infotainment screen, similar to the 21/22 3 and 4-series, along with the X5.

'22 to '23 is the same car, minus the digital key (no option to add it back on) and some option changes with needing to confirm through the dealer (drive recorder), but the hardware and software is identical between these two years. If you were ok with the ride in the 20/21, you'd certainly be ok with it on the 22/23.

You will be better off in a M40i x3 if you feel the suspension is brutal.

What you call "the Pre-LCI" also temporarily had ID7.

Re 2§: you probably confused the Digital and the Display Key.

Software de facto not the same either, as there have e.g. been remote software updates in between.

Any chance you or anyone have a pics of what this would look like? I tried searching to no avail. I should have my 23 in about a month and a half and just want to be on the look out to make sure the dealer removes after shipping.

If you pull up the dust cover it will be a bright blue plastic piece can’t miss it. A friend still had his fronts in when he went for his first service at 1200

Rock hard tires give rock hard ride. I live in the Low Country of South Carolina. I don't have 5 200lb adult and 600lb in the back. My ride is nice and smooth. This is what works for me.

I have a '22 June build with digital key and drive recorder. No material difference between '22 and '23 besides pricing.

Not sure why this thread exists. All M cars have a sports car/harsh ride, it's kind of the point :

Your June build was a 22. August and forward are '23, no digital key in those. Drive Recorder is available, but only though the dealer.

Ahh bummer! Although it's pretty gimmicky and can't imagine using it much anyway.

Is this guy for serious? With all due respect, these cars are M5 transplants, put into the bodies of X3/X4 chassis. Whatever you did there is wrong.. particularly cause its "also cheap".

I'm also pretty sure whatever those neck support things are, will seriously injure your children if you are involved in a rear-end collision.

然后VDC电调避震功能完美保留
相对于MSS短弹簧,不会异响,高度更持久不容易衰减。
已经有10台车,包括X3M X4M实行这种方案了,反馈都不错,关键也便宜。

My plan is:

Replace the Eibach spring of other models

But the height has been reduced.

So we need an aluminum alloy base.

One is above the front spring.

One is located under the rear spring.

Through this operation, the original height can be retained.

Then the VDC electric shock absorber function is perfectly retained.

Compared with the MSS short spring, there will be no abnormal noise, and the height is longer and not easy to attenuate.

There are already 10 cars, including X3M X4M, which have implemented this plan. The feedback is good, and the key is that it is also cheap.

So far, the only thing I've found the digital key useful is for going to the gym... instead of carrying bulky keys, I've just got the flat credit-card sized key stuck on the back of my phone case. When driving, the phone sits in that console spot anyhow, so it's sort of dual-purpose. Still unsure if this is the permanent way I'll do this.

Maybe it would be good for valet-parking, too? Dunno.

Digital key isn’t the same as the key card.
