Saris MTR 2-Bike. Needed something sturdy enough to hold 2 big tire E-MTB's that are ~55lbs each. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but can report back!

I don't think you were talking to me but the Stealth website shows who your local installers are.

I started out by going to 3 hith stores closer to me and all 3 said "no thanks, we don't want that job". It seemed to be a combination of the hitch and the car.

One told me he broke a little plastic piece on an AMG like mine and it cost him $500 to replace so he lost a lot of money on the job.

When I called the prefered installer, he said "sure we can do it, just did one on your exact car two weeks ago, it is way harder then the instructions state so it's going to cost you".

Based on the other AMG they did, he quoted me $550 or so but when I picked it up it was $400. He said it went a lot quicker than the first one.

Rack Attack Chicago. As mentioned above its best to go to an authorized installer if you can. No modification needed tho

Well, it took me 5 hours and cost me 50 bucks for the bay/lift rental, but execution was flawless. Directions were pretty good, although they forgot a few obvious steps near the end. Anyway, I have a hitch again that I like even more than the factory solution I had on my M40i. Pics attached!

Just tow me!

Not to hijack thread, but I just saw this today at the BMW Welt in Munich. I don’t know any details yet.

Wiring was straight forward. They provide inline taps you attach to the rear blinker wires. Then it's just a simple ground and battery lead addition. Anyone could do it.
