Dark Graphite w/ Black Wheels - PICS PlS!
Any owners with DG and black wheels... please post any pics you have in different lighting!
The time has come.... I ripped off the summer tires yesterday (as believe it or not, the temps here in N TX will be dipping down into the mid 30s over quite a few nights mixed in with a little precipitation here and there... I was going to wait until late December to throw on my AS tires, but what the heck, I have them, better to be safe than sorry). Sooooo, I’ve decided I’m definitely going to powder coat my 21 inch wheels while they are off for the winter. I will most likely go “wet black” or “mirror finish black” to match all the trim on the car (I have shadowline pkg)... but I’ve also considered doing only semi-gloss finish (most call this Satin finish in the wheel world). The Spiders that were on my GTS were in Satin finish, and those hide the brake dust really well. I will ceramic coat whatever finish I choose, so that will help.... But I’m kind of hoping maybe a member on here will also have a “satin” finish with DG so I could see how it looks. Regardless - please post any pics you have when you have time... It would help my decision to see real world pics. Thanks! |

Yeah - I'm debating on yanking off the Alenzas and just moving to PS4s when I put the wheels back on in March. I still have some decent tread left on the Alenzas tho… hate to waste it. We'll see. |
