437m Wheels on X3 35i
Thought I would share some pics of my 2017 X3 35i - with 437m wheels from an M3. Adds 1/2 inch of wheel width (went from 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears to now 9" fronts and 10" rears). I went with the same tire sizes - 245/45/19 fronts and 275/40/19 rears - and am happy with the looks and ride quality (have DHP). Steering is perceived to be a tiny bit heavier (a good thing).

Looks great! Do you know the offsets of these wheels?? I'm looking to jump up to 20s, want to know what my options are before I commit to a purchase!

I do - these are 437m:
Size Use ET 9x19 front ET 29 10x19 back ET 40 From the OE 19" wheels - Front - 3mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 15mm Rear - 2mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 14mm I found that there are several websites that can help figure out the positioning (see below) but that nothing works quite like bolting the wheel to your vehicle! Will they fit dot com (no spaces between words) and the wheel offset calculator on E90post.com wheels and tires forum |

Those wheels look great on the X3. Hope you don't mind me copying you! Placing my order today for the same wheels for my Mineral Silver X3.

Silver. Black ones are coming on my M2 if I ever get it. Prefer the silver though.

note that there is a 2012 X5 with the 20" wheels and fender flares (also has mud flaps) in front of the X3.

Very nice!
How did you figure out the M3 rims were going to fit ? no spacers needed?

No spacers needed since the offsets worked - actually ended up with a little more room on the strut side. |
