New member with 1st question

Hi all
My names Craig & I live in North Devon. Bought my wife a 2004 3.0I sport model over the weekend. Now it came with two keys,but only one works the locks,apparently it needs to be recharged???

Keys recharge when placed in the ignition. No removable battery.

Same issue newer model

Is this the same case with the 2008 3.0si models? In the same situation with only one key being charged...

Hi!

If whoever sold it to you recently changed the battery, the other key might need to be programmed for the car!

Hi if you look up on YouTube about the X3 e83 key battery you will find how to reprogram the key & also how you can replace the battery even though they say that you can`t change the battery
