The itch for more mods continues

1st, let me say thanks for reading my post. I have a X4 M40i G02. Love the car, but want more from it. For starters, I will say I learned first hand "to play you will pay." Since 20K miles I have had a VRSF down pipe, MHD Stage 2 OTS and XHP stage 2. At 48K my engine seized due to the oil pump failing. Never had any issues with the car. BMW said I voided my warranty with the catted DP and tune. So yeah, I ate the bullet of replacing the engine. Since replacing the engine, i'm invested in this car till the wheels fall off. This is my daily driver.

I have decided to upgrade to DAW ultra flow X turbo and a custom tune, but only on 91oct. Here is where your advice would be appreciated.
1. Tuners - SubPar tunning or HTE performance?
2. Is a cold air intake necessary? (I hear only for the sound) considering MST intake based on post here.
3. Is a Mid pipe exhaust necessary? (considering: https://trucranemotorsports.com/prod...caAlqtEALw_wcB)
3a. Or should I get full exhaust?
4. Any other mods you suggest?

Thanks for your time.

Sorry to hear about replacing the motor.

I have a 2020 x4 m40i - Full SuperSprint Exhaust, Evo DP, BM3 Stage 2 93 AGGR tune, xHP Stage 3. Love the torque and the sound. I also Auto-x and will eventually get to a track.

Next step for me is a Hybrid turbo and custom tune.

A full exhaust would be nice with that DAW Flow X!!!

How do you like your SuperSprint Exhaust? Worth the money? Also, what is "Auto-X"?

Exhaust set me back $5k, but quality, sound and performance are great!

Auto-X - Autocross racing. Parking lot race course against the clock. Short burst to 60mph and a series of turns and braking. It's fun and my car keeps close times to m3s and m4s.

Nice. Since i'm staying on pump gas, the owner of my turbo company and tuner both told me to stick w/ the mid pipe. Apparently I will get get great sound from intake, turbo and mid pipe.

Sorry to hear on the engine, Is that a common occurrence? Were there any hints something was off before hand?
