Siri Eyes Free

Hey gang,

Does the G01 have Siri Eyes Free integration? (with a bluetooth connected iPhone, can you override the BMW voice control and communicate with Siri instead?)? Even if not running Carplay?

I've only experienced one vehicle with Carplay (wifes Exploder) and it has it. Doesn't require Carplay and it's great for listening to and responding to text messages without touching your phone while driving.

I'm not sure if having one automatically means you get other as well so I thought I'd ask. Contemplating picking up a 2019 M40i in the spring.

If you briefly press the voice control button on the steering wheel, you get the BMW assistant.
If you "long press" the voice control button on the steering wheels, you get SIRI.

With or without apple carplay.

Awesome, that's how it works in our Ford too. Great feature.
