My order already has a vin, and I didn't know that the x4m came with roof rails … so now I'm regretting it. The last thing I want to do is rip my entire headliner out, or damage anything.

Your problem has no solution then. Don't dwell on it. Wait for the car to arrive, look at it and decide whether you want it or don't take it.

Personally, I don't think it is a big deal, they look good and match the rest of the black in the car.
