Can bad fuel pump cause no crank?
2005 with 226,000 miles. Original fuel pump.
Intermittent no crank. I removed rear seat and thumped on the fuel pump assembly with a hammer. Car started. Is this a coincidence? My question: Shouldn't the car crank even if the fuel pump is bad, or does the computer need fuel pressure to satisfy criteria before allowing cranking? Thank you! Mike |
