I went with the 1500s. For daily & even "spirited" driving, I believe these are more than sufficient.

I run the 1500 on my car and have never felt the need for more stopping power. They bite just like OE pads with virtually no dust. I drag race my car often and I've never had any issues.

If you are a canyon carver or feel the need for additional bite then 2000s are probably for you but from my understanding they dust quite a bit more than 1500s.

Sounds good, thanks for the intel

I don't track the car, but do drive like an ass from time to time

Sounds like the 1500's will suit my needs.

Kevin, just take the plunge!!! They're less than those mudflaps

The pads are magic at eliminating dust. Even the dust they create seams to come off so much easier. My stock rear pads probably dust 4x the amount of my front iSweep pads. I occasionally wish I had a bit more bite, but that's rare. And I don't want to trade off the "dust-free" use of the 1500.

I know Ben & that's true. I have OCD & I'm 1/4 German. So we have to be pretty throughly convinced at first. I'm getting close to placing an order. Just trying to decide the between the iSweep 1500 or 2000 pads.

If I get the iSweep 2000 pads it will be a touch more then the OEM mud flaps + IND body color paint. LOL But since I have the X5 M calipers up front, the 1500 may still be enough. Just trying to minimize the dust level difference at this point. Don't laugh, but I'm getting close to "finally" purchasing them!

When changing the pads do the sensors have to be changed for a reset to occur? I've done brakes on previous BMW's i've owned and re used the sensor with no issue but read that it may be different with this?

Purchased the 1500's this morning, looking forward to hopefully a lot less dust. I was a little apprehensive as i've used various ceramics over the years with great success in regards to noise and dust and i'm not sure what the compound is with these? BUT, the feedback is great so i'm in...

I just bought these (ISweep 2000’s)from Ben last week and had them installed on Monday. Granted, it’s a different platform, mine is an F95, but the main reason I got them was to eliminate the squeal from the stock pads. I’m happy to say the squeal is gone and I haven’t noticed any degradation in stopping power.

You can’t go wrong with these pads.

Bmock17 Let me know what you think of the overall "dust level" of these pads compared to stock. I have the X5 M calipers on the front of my X3 M. So I'm curious to see what your thoughts are the next few months. I'm ordering a set this week & as soon as I hear back from Ben r33_RGSport...

Sure, will do.

I also had them on my first X3M, I bought those pads from Ben as well. The first time I bought them was for the same reason, the squealing factory pads. They were extremely quiet on my f97 too. Those were ISweep 1500’s and I will say the initial bite wasn’t as strong as stock pads, but they weren’t a detriment or anything. Dusting was significantly less, which was an added benefit.

I honestly think you’ll be happy with them.

Had to post results of ISWEEP 1500 install front and rear on my 20 X3M and the results are amazing, virtually no dust, wow what a difference. I don't know whether this pad is ceramic or not, i've used Akebono ceramic on my other bimmers and been satisfied. I think this might be better in the dust category. Great job ISWEEP!!!

what do these cost, curious. I have an m40i now but thinking about moving to the m. I will not tolerate the brake dust lol. on my 23 M40, I installed Powestops on all 4 and they're great and very cheap but I can't find if they make a set for the M, so maybe this isweep is the only option? it seems you all have researched this already lol. just give me the answers please lol.

btw, I've had 5 sets of powerstops and they work great, including my 22 hellcat which weights as much as the x3 LOL... worked fine as long as NO track use was involved. they are on my m40 now since 500 miles and I'm at 12000 with zero issues or dust. best part is they don't eat rotors like OEM /semi metalic pads seem to do sometimes. I went 60k on a set on my scat and they had about 40% life left and rotors were mint, original, and it had the same brembo 6 piston setup.
