2015 BMW X3 Not starting

Hi all

I really need your help, I have a 2015 X3 that cranks well but will not start.

all this was after i hit a curb underneath the car had a strut damage and mount bracket broke all this has been replaced everything else works but not firing... help please

It's likely the Eccentric Shaft Position Sensor.

thanks guys ....will have to try to get someone from the dealer to do it .... but that sensor would make the car not start at all not once????

this morning i took unplug the mass air flow sensor and it kicked like it was about to start but it didn't.... oh well sensor change it is....

hey guys i'm looking at some diagram and cant locate the sensor i have a xdrive28i 2.0L don't know if this makes a difference ....

can someone send me a diagram and a part number with it all i'm seeing is the sensors for different bmw engines...

Yes a failed sensor will create a no-start situation.

That sensor is actually built in to the servomotor and will require replacement of the complete servomotor which requires removal of the valve cover. Also, there is a chance the defect is within the DME. In that case you would have to replace the DME.
