Custom order time frame
I'm thinking of placing my order tomorrow for a custom 2019 X4, wondering what the time frame is? Dealer told me 4-6 weeks but I thought I saw a few people on here get theirs a lot quicker than that. This is in Illinois

4-6 weeks is about right.
I received my car on 10/14, the car had a production date of 9/24. I'm in CA. But there will be some delay between when you place the order and when production begins, depending on your dealer's allocation. |

I had to wait about 6 weeks just to get an allocation for my M40i. But once the X4 was actually built, it took three weeks for it to get to California. My experience is that cars built in Europe take about 6 weeks to get to California.

We were done with our build in about 2 weeks and then came transportation across the US. Just a hair over 4 weeks and we picked up from the dealer.

Your vehicle inquiry report will have the production #. You can call the bmw genius hotline and ask them for the build week tied to that production number.
You client advisor should have told this. |
