Let's talk about my Build - 30i x4

I spent some time today installing the autotecknic carbon fiber / Alcántara trim and paddle shifters.

It was about 4x harder than I expected but not difficult overall looking back.

Not going to lie I almost took some tequila shots and called it quits when I couldn't find a torx t10 bit.

Need to post about the paddles . The overall height makes it great to use during casual driving.

Will running some errands I was still able to use the paddles with a lazy 7pm or 4:30 pm grip. This is a normal spot for my driving / style.

The original paddles were clearly designed for a safe 11/2 hand position but I rarely drive like that.

I think I'm going to start using the paddles a lot more .

Why do you need torx 10 though?
I believe all are torx 20.

So I could have gone about this completely wrong but, the button assemblies on my wheel were screwed on to the trim piece.

Three screws for each side of buttons and then two more that hold the heat button to the trim.

Autotecknic did a good job matching the OE trim.

Ahh, torx 10 to remove the multifunction button assembly and heating button from the trims.

Forgot about that.

It will be AutoTecknic that will make them.
We've made them that fit on G30/F90 using my trims.
