Congrats and welcome to the X3 family. Enjoy the ride!
Just in case you like to wear blue jeans, the light interior could suffer some blue dye transfer. Here's a thread you can read for reference. Blue jean dye transfer to light Upholstery https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1574656 |

I say Leather, it's PU Coated so the leather is encapsulated and hidden from our touch, I had some Jean stains on our Cognac and it wipes off easy enough as it has no way of soaking into the leather (in theory) |

Luckily enough I’m used to it as I have a light interior now ,just a wipe over when it’s looking a bit dirty so hopefully it’s just the same

Congrats sure you will love it.
Oyster is a great interior choice for contrast but then i am biased . just keep some leather cleaner handy for the inevitable transfer. |
