Hi,

I forgot to opt for roof rails for my X4 and I am wondering if:
- is it possible to retrofit? Any X4 owners can confirm there are holes on top so one can easily buy a roof rails and screw them?
- just buy a OEM BMW box suited for car without roof rails ?? Is there any ?

Actually I am checking my sales to install the roof rails when my M40i arrive.

Ok I got some more information.
Car has already holes in its roof and rails can be retrofitted, but it requires inner roof disasembly ...

Ahh the headliner comes down. Similar when trying to swap out silver rails to the black ones .

I just realized that I put the picture upside down.
You can see the different now.
I retrofit the rails after the car arrived.
The effect now is better looking, haha

What steps are required to retrofit roof rails?
Does it require to detach headliner?
