but my personal taste would have been to remove the sticker before mounting, spoils the full black look.

Detailer came 2 days before the UK went into lockdown and the ceramic coat always adds lots of shine.

I wasn't sure what it would look like with the sticker and thought I could get away. Not sure how I feel about it yet but it may well come off

I think you're right. I cancelled my order. Fuck! I really wanted that too. They look so cool Well, if the residual is better than they say, maybe I'll end up keeping it and buying the lip then.

Yea I agree, took mine off before mounting, comes off really easily though and didn't leave any residue

Agree with luke, they come off pretty easy, after removing screws just need a bit of force to break the VHB tape bond. Had two previous PCP/lease cars with maxton lips and went back with no issues after removal.

Once removed and residue cleaned up only the small screw holes are left which are under the bumper and are not visible unless someone lies on the floor.

No, I will keep mine in gloss black. But I can Photoshop a picture if you want to see what it would look like.

It's not easy to change something black to another color... and I am sure no expert. But I gave it a shot, here are photos with the splitter changed to as close to the car as I could get it.
