Literally 20 years ago I bought a TEC-II computer from Shiv Pathak and started working on a roots supercharged 99 Miata I owned. I kind of thought he was a genius back then. He just had a touch when working with fuel maps that would flatten and raise torque curves. He helped me extract another 50-60 HP that allowed me to terrorize Mustang GTs with my chick car. Nice guy, too! I imagine the next 20 years of tuning experience haven't hurt.

Now he's gone and tuned the B58tu, supposedly up to 500 BHP (albeit in a Supra). It would be awesome to see that recipe in an M40i...

I remember Shiv from his turbo-kits-for-Impreza RSs days.

I'm with you, if it works on the Supra, I don't see why it wouldn't work on our X3s.
