What's the fastest you've gone in the F97/8?

Recently on a stretch in Mexico I hit 132 mph.

The X3M was still pulling like it was nothing.

I was being stupid and I will never do this again but 240KPH on winter tires on a highway/interstate

On Pocono raceway at an event I hit 167. Nearly shat myself 😀. The car had more but I didn’t. Was hoping to get to the 177 limiter.

I'm surprised... these things are crazy stable at high speeds. But I respect everyone has a speed threshold.

This F97 can easily do 140-150 MPH on desolate highways all day long. Not that I've ever done that before...

When I was 30 I once went 199 on a closed course but as I have gotten into my late 50’s, I have become more apprehensive about so many things including my tolerance for speed. I get this ache in my back and my brain starts thinking “what about my son or wife if I die?” Even though I was married and we had our son prior to my turning 30 it just didn’t seem to matter at that time. Ah to be young again….

All he had was bolt on's, bootmod3 and e30. The easy mods, he got to 201 and posted it on facebook. Local PD found him.
