Any Aussie deals? Looking to get a 3 year old back from lease at the original dealer.
I wanted to see what fellow Aussies paid.

X3 x30i, Long Island, NY

Convenience package plus remote start, heated seats, heated steering wheel, live cockpit pro, space saver spare. MSRP $50,790

Went in expecting to pay MSRP and had 10 months left on a 2019 Nissan Rogue SV with a current payoff of 18.4K.

Walked out with the X3 paying only first month and DMV out of pocket, monthly payment is $650. 36 months, 12K per year.

Do you mind sharing which LI dealership and what kind of discount you got?
I'm in the market and live in NY metro.

Thanks!

Competition BMW, have a friend who works there and they were able to get me good money for the Rogue. I walked into Freeport a few weeks back and they wouldn't do anything with the Nissan, I had to buy it out basically.

I knew upfront I was going to pay MSRP which was $50,790 on the one we have, most are going for over. Got out of the Rogue and that equity was used towards the X3, overall very happy. My main goal was to get out of the tin box Rogue and I was happy with $650 a month.

Local advertised ads have $539 a month, 10K miles. But my understanding is it's an X3 with Convenience package only, I could be wrong. Either way they want $5500 due at signing plus taxes.

I keep reading here and there on people getting 5-7% off msrp on the 2022 X3 M40i.

The dealer in my area has the exact option and color car I want. They are not going below MSRP, but is offering $1000 rebate with 1.9% financing thru BMWF.

Any other lucky people who were able to get % off msrp?

How many dealerships did you ask for discount? You should email all dealers around your and see what discounts they are offering. Then see which dealership bids the highest. You should be able to get a bigger discount with a car on the lot. If you go in empty handed with no other offers from other dealerships you won't get as good of a deal usually.

Hello All,

I am new to the Forum and ready to order a 2022 X3 M40i, a lease or, less likely but possible, a purchase. My local dealers (greater Syracuse, NY) have no allocations, and are sticky firm at MSRP. I am willing to wait until as late as October 2022 to have a car delivered. This will be a Performance Center Delivery.

Can anyone point to:

1) a good dealer with allocation for ordering or (unlikely, I know) inventory;
2) a good lease broker.

I've been on the leasehackr forum at length, and found a well reviewed broker, but the dealer the broker uses has rather hefty, non-negotiable fees (the dealer is in a state with non-capped dealer fees and the lease quote also includes a large non-negotiable bank acquisition fee) tacked onto a superb money factor; and said dealer is waiting for an allocation.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Asked about 10 places. ALL very firm on MSRP. one dealer offered $500 off factory order.

Also, is it normal for a dealer to NOT be able to sell the car (car has not for sale sticker on it) until they find a replacement for customers to test drive? SA says they are required to have at least one X3 M40i for test drive. For him to sell it, he needs to trade one from a diff dealer.

Currently waiting on that to happen.

Thanks!

Not in my recent experience.

2 weeks ago, I test drove 2 different X3 30i one x-line and one m-sport with Dynamic handling package.
They sent me to a different dealership 20 minutes away to test drive an X3 M40i as they had sold the ones they had.
Lucky me that 2nd dealership was much more accommodating, experience was far beyond the other place and the SA was amazing with my daughter. This is where I will be placing my order in the coming months.

Also have you spoken with a broker to see if there are any deals to be had right now? Next Level Auto Brokers is a member here and brokers only BMW vehicles.

So you didn't just put DMV + first month at signing. How much equity did you roll into the deal?

I just sent him an email yesterday.
Awaiting response.
If you search you can find an Ask Me Anything post on here and other bmw forums. He is thorough and helpful in his answers.

After test driving a few X3s, I'm starting to get excited to go from an E60 to G01.
This is one of the gems I have my eye on.
'22 Tanzanite II Blue
Tacora Red Sensatec
Black 20" 699M Wheels
Red M-Sport Calipers
Extended Shadowline
Harmon Kardon
Premium Package
DAP
PAP
Remote Engine Start
Sensatec Dash
Carbon Fiber Trim

Received an email today, I was asked to call the broker tomorrow, we'll see if there are any deals to be had still.

Hoping to pull the trigger within the next week or two, if that's possible.?!

just a perfect build/specs. Curious as to what help, if any, the broker will be. Are you going to finance or lease? Patiently awaiting your updates.

I will be either buying outright or financing.
I don't qualify for BMWFS 1.9% and don't want to eat the 6.5% my credit union is offering.
Playing around with the idea of a large down payment and financing the rest through my credit union to build better credit, then my next purchase I will qualify for BMWFS low APR.

I will give an update on what, if any, deals are to be had right now in this current market.
I'll also ask if it's more advantageous to lease or finance in the current market as well.

FWIW. If the broker can get me $1,000 - $2,000 off the asking price, it's mine. Honestly if I have to I may take it at the asking price since some of the options aren't available. The vehicle is just $1,500 more than the exact same build that's missing those options on BMW configurator. I'm pretty sure extended shadowline, sensatec dash and HK were more than $1,500 put together.

It’s beautiful and I don’t blame you. How rough is it to get financed by BMW. I’m working on my credit as well. I’m a bit over 700 but have a 13 that’s been discharged a few years ago. Good luck with it, it’s gorgeous and don’t forget you can always refinance loan after you get it.

Just placed an order on a x30i. My broker was able to get 6.25% off msrp of $55.8k at 36/10, zero down with just first month and taxes/fees due. The money factor and residual was as BMW is putting out there. Was also able to add MSD to bring down the money factor further. In this market I can't complain at all. Really pleased with this.

This is the build now the waiting game

After a huge burst of research and contacting brokers/dealers, I am close to putting a sub-MSRP order/deal in place through a broker. I have been advised that: 1) BMW lease MF has increased to 3.2%, eff. 2/1/22; and 2) BMW purchase financing is 2.49%.

As anticipated, directly contacting dealers was useless. One dealer, with no allocation at this time, wanted MSRP + 3% and a $2500 non-refundable deposit to wait for an allocation.

I also tried the dealer route for an M40i build, emailed 20 of them within 100 miles, zero discounts. My local dealer's best offer was MSRP and only marking up the MF by 20bps. I was able to get an order done through a broker with 2% off MSRP, base MF and a March build week. Better than nothing.
