New 2022 X3 M40i Build

I'm working on a new M40i build to replace my F15. The new 2022 LCI looks like a good upgrade and I'm excited about the car. Lots of good tech upgrades that pull it up to par with the G05.

Looking at Brooklyn Grey to have something different but thinking it needs black wheels. What do you guys think?

That would be my pick but until they get their chip shit together... Might have to wait for the 2023 model.

Looks good! This was my build I ordered.

I like it. Definitely go with the Shadowline and black 699M wheels like the post above. Lighter paint colors look good with black wheels, IMO.

I placed my order last week. Now after reading about shortages and some options not available I was getting nervous. I am thinking BMW has some sort of parts inventory and wouldn't accept a build if they didn't know the parts are in stock ? If order rejected then they are missing something ?

I am in PA. And the dealers here all have allocations some maybe 1 or 3.

MSRP 62,545 for an X3 M40i at a selling price of 58,108.

I ordered my 2022 LCI M40i on the UK BMW configurator and with my local dealer a few weeks ago. The LCI came on the UK configurator about a month ago.

The “Introducing…” thread has order/pricing guides for the X3 (and I think the X4). That’ll get you package codes and co-requirements. If you want to see any particular thing, configurators for other countries are live (I’ve been using Germany, UK, and Canada). Not everything will be an exact match due to regional differences, but it’s pretty good.

Also was curious... Did you get a finance reduction?

I went to one dealer and they had 1 allocation for a MY 22 X3 M40i and the one I ordered from had 3 allocations for builds
