I'm positive if you send information his way, he would be more than happy to update the chart.
Yeah, I've actually been keeping the chart fairly up-to-date when I see new info, and have the X5M at 3.8sec from the Car and Driver data, but I've been waiting on documented qtr mile times and speeds for the SVR, Urus, and New Cayenne Turbo to post it to the thread [ https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1444613 ]. When I get a chance I'll go ahead with what I have as it's been awhile.

Given the volume of data the chart will never be day current, but happy to correct when batches of new info are available. And FWIW, I have the SVR at 3.7s which I estimated from the Wt/HP vs. 0-60 chart in post #15 of that thread. Less than 490HP to start for the X3M and the SVR will be a formidable competitor, at least on paper.

We get it, you're not a fan of genuine M SUVs!!!
I just remember how much effort Max Well put into his chart and wanted it to be as accurate as possible.

I refuse to get this until the competition one comes out and maybe then it'll have the wider fenders and be more aggressive. This is literally the same as our M40i, with a quad exhaust and different front bumper and the engine of course. I want more aggressiveness.

Would also be interested in seeing the F97/98 rendered with entire roof aero design for those not wanting a moonroof ( similar to the F90’s aesthetic - https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1479022 ).

I'm hoping these come with the black trim pieces instead of the chrome.

If it does get released with chrome, I'll probably wait a few months before getting one. Just in case they release a competition model with the black trim like they just did earlier this year for the F90 M5.

I see no need for a competition model of an SUV, but if BMW decides that's what it'll do, then I'd probably wait for that one.

So do we know anything about the anticipated release date for these--or when they'll actually start arriving here in the US?

This is all great. However, my $.02 - the X3 M40i is a fantastically sporty and quick SAV, especially with a tune. I'm having a hard time imagining the incremental gains going from this to an X3M for a daily driver. If you're planning on tracking the thing, fantastic, but otherwise....?

I will be hauling grocery faster, having fun in the spring or fall at the drag-strip, keeping up with friends who have M3/M4, X5M, M5/M6, and whenever I see a Macan Turbo, Jaguar F-Pace SVR, i will know I am the king of the road

It's likely the suspension tuning will be different on an M vehicle, so the ride and handling may be substantially different, even if an aggressively tuned non-M vehicle is able to accelerate as quickly as a factory M version. Differences in handling may (or may not) be material in driving on the road as well as on the track, although it's unlikely any of the M version's design attributes reflect an expectation by the factory that this type of vehicle will be tracked, rather than be operated on public roads.

Those are my first choice to play with

You should see the look of people's face with what my F80 M3 ZCP DCT can do.
