Just picked up an '04 X3
Hi all
Unfortunately on New year's Eve me and my sister we're rear ended and the accident totalled our little 128i. So we decided to get something that will leave a little bit if money in the bank from the payout. We came across a pretty clean X3 from where we've bought all our BMW's from (2003 745i, 2006 750i, 2007 328i, 2008 128i, 2007 335i). This X3 was well maintained and is in excellent shape for it's age. It has 127k on the clock. No dash lights, drives smooth. I'm quite shocked how good this car still looks for being 18 years old. Anyways we got it for 6k out the door, I think it's a pretty smart buy. For some reason I can't access the stickies on this forum, so what are some things to watch out for? I know the transfer case fluid maintenance is important but everything else I've read about this platform suggests it's pretty solid. |

Congrats on the X3... Welcome to the family... Definitely do all fresh fluids to start. Preventative maintenance is a must on e83s. upload a pic.. We'd all like to see.
