Is this scanner adequate

Hello X3ers!

I'm looking into buying a scanner mainly to rest my transfer case adaptations but also help service and diagnose the whole fleet of cars.

Do you guys think the Foxwell NT624 Elite scanner is up to par?

It appears to be a good general OBD2 diagnostics device plus a few common reset functions used by various car makers. Looking through the user manual for that device, I don't see anything on transfer case adaptations. You would probably need a BMW specific unit like the NT510 or NT510 Elite.

I got an NT 510 and it would not connect to the car for some reason. I decide Id step up and get something for every car out there.

Could this scanner reset adaptations for transfer case?

I don't see anything specifically for that function, but it's likely. To be absolutely sure, you'd have to check with Foxwell. BTW, it's on sale direct from the manufacturer at $790. http://www.foxwelltool.com/wholesale...m-android.html
