I've recently flashed bootmod3 stage 2 after installing a VRSF high flow downpipe. I also have an ECS Tuning charge pipe on order, but having difficulty finding a compatible intercooler for the B58. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance-

Isn't it integrated into the intake manifold? Might not be any options out there, or at least very many.

You might be correct, but I'm honestly not sure. I'm simply going by bootmod3's requirements for stage 2 AGG tune which says that in addition to high flow downpipe, one must have upgraded charge pipe and then intercooler. Would obviously save me some money if indeed I don't need to upgrade the intercooler.

Your car doesn't use intercooler anymore.
It is water to air intercooler type.
There are some aftermarket for S55, N63tu, and S63tu motor, but I don't think there will be any for the B58 since it is integrated with the intake plenum assembly.

Ah, but as with all A/W intercoolers, you do still have the heat exchanger for the water system that can be upgraded to bring temps down in the water which in turn reduces heat from the intake....

I did see a listing for a heat exchanger when I was searching for the IC.

You can upgrade the stock heat exchanger but your gains won’t be crazy. Stock is pretty efficient as is... and yes it is water to air.

Thanks guys. I'm going to leave the heat exchanger alone, and just do the charge pipe and intake.

I know this thread is very old, but obviously now there are many after market B58 intake manifolds/intercoolers. I just ordered this one:
https://www.urotuning.com/products/w...41561197281473

The benefits of this product are many:
- Significantly improved cooling performance with up to 20° lower intake air temperatures.
- Maximum relief of the turbocharger with 35% less backpressure
- More power and torque for your engine
- 100% pressure resistance for optimal safety
- Plug and play without modifications
- Pre-prepared intake manifold injection (Fuel Rail optionally available here )
- Three 1/8 NPT ports for additional parameter measurement
- Six prepared NOS or WMI ports (for example 90° NOS Nozzles 1/16 NPT here )
- Suitable for all power levels
- Up to 4-year warranty for peace of mind

I am also considering one at the moment, as i increased my power considerable.

I think I will order the EOS intake manifold.

All b58 manifolds will fit the g01s to my knowledge we have a much larger engine bay. Just make sure you buy the right generation one for your car
