Looking to lease a 2021 X3 3.0 w M sport package. This is for the wife. I own a 18 M3.
12k / 36 months. Taxes rolled in.
690$ a month? Seems crazy for a 52k vehicle, no?

For sure $690 a month is crazy. My wife's 2021 G01 x30i had an MSRP of $49k and her payment is $450. 36/10k. 9% discount before incentives. Incentives were

$1,750 lease credit
$750 loyalty
$500 OL code from a BMW Corp event.
NY Tax is 8.875%
Base money factor and residual

But we paid tax upfront and didn't roll in. If tax were rolled in, payment would be like $500.

I think you could potentially get yours at or below $600 with tax rolled in. Try Negotiate and shop around.

It’s no skin off of their backs to give you those credits. The credits are coming straight from BMW HQ. They’re written in stone. They’re not coming from the dealership. So the dealership shouldn’t withhold them from you or play games with you, if you qualify. For instance, there’s sometimes conquest and loyalty incentives.

One advantage is that you’re looking at a 2020, on the lot. With the 2021 cars coming in, they might want to get rid of the 2020’s and therefore maybe willing to deal further on the 2020’s.

My advice is to read this thread (the many pages of it) starting with the most recent and reading it backwards in time. Write down everyone’s “deal” until you’ll get a good idea of what other people are paying. Usually people will state how much % discount under MSRP and state their incentives also. That’s all you really need to know. Plus, model year matters a little bit too. I think you’ll find that with both discount and incentives combined, people are getting anywhere 7% -17% off MSRP. I think 14% off MSRP is pretty good, but you should probably check out the incentives and make sure you’re not getting screwed with the incentives (or lack thereof).
Thanks so much for the advice and for responding. I will definitely do that! I’m tempted to just give in and take them up on the $7k off and demand the 0.9% but I still feel like they have some more meat on the bone $$$ wise I can take off. Will read this thread and then we will see. Thank you!

Depends on your actual breakdown. Do you have an offer sheet?

I believe the lease incentive is 1750, correct? I'm guessing a MSRP break of around 7% with that payment and due at signing. You might be able to shed another $40 or so a month.

Not a good deal in my view. Please check out my posts on my wife 2021 G01 x30i lease.

I think you can get the payment down.

I tried to get it down to around 450 ish but the lowest they went was 479 a month and 3200 due at signing for taxes and first payment. Also tried to get the taxes down because 3200 just for Uncle Sam a complete waste. I might wait until December for a better deal but what do you think I can realistically get with 0 down

That’s what I was looking for around 450 a month but they seemed not to budge at all so I will wait until December and hope they offer a deal that isn’t bad I even talked to another place and they wanted 530 a month I hung up noway I was going to drop them $80

I saw dealers had mostly 21 X3s on lots when I was looking around the past few weeks. Plenty of stock to get where you want to be. I would just widen your search net and start sending web offers with the breakdown that you're after. Someone will bite.

These seem to be October numbers. From the fine prints: "APR and credits valid through November 02, 2020."

Hopefully we will see something better once it is revealed tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I missed the fine print and thought those were the November numbers. I just confirmed with my SA that the November numbers are the same. For the 2021 X3 M40i in my zip code:

Financing rate = 1.9%
Financiang credit = $2500
Loyalty Credit = $750

I'm holding out until December to see if the numbers are any better.

0.9% is on 2020 models only and there aren't many of those left that are well specced. The 2021 X3 M40i is 1.9%. Still better than the UK, but many manufacturers in the US are offering 0% financing now so 1.9% is nothing special.

Good catch, I'm really hoping for something better in my area coming tomorrow, I feel like we have the lowest incentive right now. If not, December better be good.. I just ordered on Thursday and was hoping for some sort of worthwhile incentives to come out before delivery.

UPDATE: November incentives are live on the website!!!

Do you get the APR credit deducted upon delivery? How does it work?

For my zip code, the APR credit for November actually DROPPED from $2500 to $1000... wondering if placing the order towards end of month would be more beneficial not knowing what next month's APR credit would be?

Interesting, I’m seeing the opposite for finance offers in CA. Incentive from 1000 to 2500 across the 2021 X3 lineup, rate stays at 1.9%

Hi folks! New here.

Looking to buy a 2021 X3 M40i and just reached out to a local dealer to schedule a test drive for later today. The original 'offer' he sent me basically is for MSRP minus $1000 in incentives for finance.

I know that discount of MSRP varies on supply and demand and from state to state but am curious if anyone around Western Washington (Seattle/Bellevue) has an idea on what kind of discount of MSRP I should be able to get before incentives kick in?

I should add that the car in question just got into the lot 2 days back. So I am guessing that may inflate the price a bit too.

I apologize for any obvious/stupid questions. This is my first purchase of a brand new luxury car and I am not very experienced with this.

Thanks and glad to be here.
