Thinking about getting M color grill inserts>>>>

I’ve seen this on a few vehicles and it looks like a fairly simple modification. The grill inserts that I have seen online available for purchase don’t look like they would work with the X3 M because of the placement of the X3 M badge on the grill. Below is the photo of a vehicle that I have seen which actually has it somehow incorporated with the badge. Anyone know the best source to buy this? I’m assuming there’s no OEM option.

So looking at the s’more it appears as though there are two different approaches: plastic inserts which fit over the grill slats, and stickers that are applied directly to the grill slats. I’m guessing the sticker approach would have to be used for the X3 M grill. Has anyone done this? Did you have to remove the X3 M badge and reapply it?

I see these on cars that are generally not M cars, in the UK. I'm not sure what the owners are trying to achieve as I think it doesn't look good at all. All personal choice, of course.

Can you please tell me which body kit you put in the X3M? Love the side skirts too…

Although your applications has to be one of the best I've seen, it has to go. Tacky to say the least. Most bimmers here in the Bronx have them, all non-m's

Most posters hate the grill inserts.

That said, it's your vehicle, do what you want to it.

No offense OP, but I hate these. They are completely unnecessary on an M car, but as others mentioned, they are mostly found on base model 3 series. The positive side of me says, I like the enthusiasm about BMW, but it just looks cluttered and out of place.

I had these in my m3 and grew to hate them because of all the random cars running around with them.

Looks like the 3D Design front lip & side skirts. Amazing fitment & quality but at a high cost, lip alone is $2600.
