I got this close to picking up my car up from the dealer (after a bit of roof damage was repaired), but as the service guy pulled it into the reception garage, it threw an SOS battery warning

(battery was replaced just over 1 year ago).

Turns out where the headliner had been dropped for the repair, a cable had come loose from the centre light dome back to the telematics unit. Just glad it happened when it did, and the service guy saw it. He was very embarrassed when he told me.

Got the car 24h later, and I'm glad to be back in a high-ish riding SUV after having a Mini Cooper Exclusive for a few days. Although, this Mini had nice soft leather seats and a double sunroof, which made a lot of difference comparing to the standard Coopers.

Ceramic coating finished at BMW here in Stockholm, thought I’d try it. Never done it before.

Yes, Aventurine

Prior to receiving my X3 I'd never seen Aventurine in the sunlight. Cloudy days and showroom lighting don't do it justice. This color is way more awesome than I expected and totally worth the money.
