If I may, I'd like to interject something here. Sedan claimed that there are good and bad officers. I believe he makes an effort to be one of the good ones, or he certainly would never answer any of our questions believing that we are all attacking him, or having a hidden agenda. I accept that he is trying to be transparent. Now I would ask that you do so also. Very obvious that you had a bad run-in with perhaps a bad officer, and now you seem to believe that they are all like that. keep in mind the reason that Asians are being attacked for these same beliefs. Why not come clean and state your beef, and try to work to a common ground. And I am not kissing Sedan's ass, because I too had a bad run-in with a cop, but also have had good ones. Insults from either side do not help causes, and I don't aim it at you.

Why do you buy into this propaganda that I have an irreconcilable beef with the police? I've gone through multiple times how I grew up with police, worked with police, & besides speeding tickets, nothing! Nothing! I've had two instances in NYC where they cops were not especially helpful or brilliant, but hey, what else is new? I also have two ex-cop friends in the dog park.... But we have quite the right wing crowd here....
I was brought up to be military. My god father was exec commander of a nuclear missile sub (Henry L. Stimson) which I went to the launch of & dine in with his Admiral.
Unlike some stuff posted in this thread, I back up my contentions with factual reporting. I don't belong to the cancel culture that disses learning.
