I also installed spacers the next day. Not sure if that helped. |

It’s those absolute shite contis. Surprisingly Stiff/high spring rate sidewall tires that like to tramline. I changed them after a few weeks to 265/295 pirellis. Slightly softer sidewall but less tramlining. I don’t think the guys with Michelin’s have the same issue. I should add the contis are Very hard compound.

even when it’s off I never liked addl “dead weight” that it adds to the steering. Perhaps the system is designed for autobahn speeds. It feels worse on this chassis with its smaller rack and higher CG imho. I miss the M5 only because everything else feels slower after getting out of it. X3M downshifts smoother overall for an 8MT |

I have same but have the issue. I strongly believe it depends on road surface. Any imperfections are readily apparent. Good smooth road, no issues. Any variation and it's pulling here and there. Primarily an issue with lumpy or troughed roads for me.

For those who already commented that this is happening. Is it under heavy acceleration and at what speeds? Under 100mph or over?
I only have the 19"RFT and I noticed this too but after break in and I was a little concerned.

Not sure that's it. My X3MC is the hardest modern vehicle I have driven to keep centered, other than my JL Wrangler, which has a entirely different steering/axle setup.

For me, it's at a steady highway speeds cruise (65mph+) - normal driving.

Wrong forum. We're talking about X3M which doesn't have 19s or RFT and has different suspension and steering.

As long as you're sure the alignment is correct, and tire pressures are confirmed manually with the TPMS, and you've tried Sport/Sport+ steering on those roads, suspect it may a road surface interaction rather than a primary X3MC issue. See how it plays out on a variety of routes and give us some feedback. |

Same issue here, but with regular X3 with standard Michelin's RFTs, under 1000 miles still.
Feels like there's no center spot at all, and constant corrections needed on any speed. Initially I thought it's alignment, brought to a dealer, they checked said OK, but never gave any specs, suspect they just get a lot of such complains and don't want to bring BMW another lawsuit. |

Look at the PSA thread in this forum. That update does help a lot. It's a dealer performed update. It greatly improves a lot about the car, one of those things is the lane keeping assist.
