Thoughts and Questions 1k Miles in
Loving this forum. I really wanted adaptive suspension but the car I got the deal on didn't have it.
In case anyone is curious, I timed it at the end of Q1 and got a brand new left over 2018 x3m40 for 60k MSRP for $599 and complete sign and drive. The only thing I put down was 7 MSD's. 12k/36mos. 1. Dealer is saying he can't put carplay or wireless charging in? WTF. Has anyone used the chinese knockoff of the wireless charging and had great feedback? 2. NYC streets plus this car are especially bumpy. I am coming out of a 328 msport 2016 and feel like this car you feel everything. I'm almost wondering if I should have gone the X5 route. Any advice on the bumps. Is it the RFT's or not sure. 3. Acceleration, sounds, and handling are what you expect from BMW. Even better honestly. The exhaust makes me laugh in a good way. 4. Car is beautiful inside and out. Have no issues with seats at all as others have stated. |

A few members here have put in the wireless charger after the fact with success. A quick search should show the threads.
The ride would most likely improve if you ditched the RFTs.

Carplay can be coded several ways. Or you can simply by a USB "coding" (https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1583913)
