Thanks!! I prefer to 20's over the 21's. We live in pothole country and the extra sidewall is a benefit plus the extra selection of replacement tires is an added benefit. Oh yeah, and they look very nice as well .

Excellent write-up on your PCD trip, and it mirrors what I experienced to a "T" last fall on my X4M40i. Enjoy the new ride; you've picked a great build.

BTW, regarding the comments on state plates, etc., I brought my own plates when I picked mine up, but never gave a thought to state inspection/emission stickers. Not surprisingly, the plant has no way to accommodate that, and I never gave it a thought.


Turns out that 8 months later when I was in for my 10K check-up, the dealer picked this up and inspected/tested and stickered for free.

I also ordered the 20" instead of the 21". In addition to the points you mentioned, I also considered the higher expected tread life and lower replacement cost. Plus, I like the look of the 20" 699 wheels better than the 718 21" wheels.

Kinda wish the 21" 726 wheels were available in US... Love the look of them
