Not for you, but Bmw is laughing it’s way to the bank and not for completely wrong reasons.

M2c is being coined as one of the best M cars made. M2 CS is coming. In manual. F90 M5 is completely dominating it’s segment and putting some cars that aren’t even in its class to shame. X3/4 M look really spectacular on paper and will sell like crazy. X5/6 M will be insane beasts based on their history and they look like monsters. M850i is once again doing very well in its segment and leaves high hopes for the M8. G80 M3 is already being set up to be one hell of a car. Lots of speculation obviously because a lot of them aren’t out, but I’m pretty sure I got a tingle in my tummy and there’s a WIDE variety of cars to choose from in the coming years for M fans.

I already order an X3 M Competition . Fully equipet. Can‘t wait to drive them.

Could please someone send me a serial from an X3 M Competition of one of the dealers in the US?
Did someone know a dealer in Las Vegas where I can see the car in April?

Thanks

Actually caught the thread from M3post...signed up just to point it out. I was thinking the same thing about the selfie stick but who am I to judge, I sure as hell ain't bringing anything as substantial as he has apparently to the BMW community.

Yeah I'm just messing. Cars > life. That is my motto.

Thanks for posting this. I'm really not sure what to think about the X3 M. I've considered it as my possible next car, but I'm a bit disappointed about the exterior. I know the SUV M models don't get the same extensive exterior treatment as the coupes or sedans, but this is a bit boring IMHO (some more pronounced fender flares or at least wider wheels would definitely help).

Don't base too much opinion on spy shots/videos. A dirty black X3 with some camo, silver roof rails, black wheels, and incorrect front grills makes it look fairly pathetic. There are a couple of angles there that look nice but on dealer lots I think it will look impressive.

Hoping BMW shares video of production X3M/X4M Competition models in high-speed track settings like the Ring. Other than the early clips of camo'd spy video, haven't seen anything of substance showcasing those abilities yet.

Agreed. I wonder if any aftermarket companies will make fender strips that stick out more like the X5M. That coupled with wider tires with a wider offset would completely change the stance and aggressiveness of the car.

I know and I'm sure it will look better in person, clean, with other color combos (especially with a different wheel color), but we actually already know that the only noteworthy difference is the front bumper and the diffuser (which is actually also rather subtle with the black exhaust pipes, if you get the competition version). I was just hoping for something more sportier and mean looking.

But I haven't written it off yet, I'll wait the first reviews and of course when they hit the dealers.

That's quite possible. My problem is I'm not a fan of aftermarket parts and treatments. I don't know how to explain, either I like the OEM car as it comes from the factory or it's probably not the right car for me. Helping out with aftermarket parts is just not the real thing.

I hear ya, I'm actually the same way. Had an E46 M3 and now a 1M and I really haven't changed anything on them either.

For me, my decision will be predicated on how it drives. If that blows me away then I'm in, otherwise I just can't justify spending $20k more than the M40i after discounts, especially when it's for the wife lol.

I'm pretty sure that it will be a beast and fun to drive (especially for a SUV). The other question is how the sound is going to be like though.
